Alsike Clover is a short-lived perennial or biennial legume that thrives in cool, moist climates and tolerates more acidic or poorly drained soils than many other clovers. It produces high-quality forage and fixes nitrogen, improving soil fertility for future crops or pasture. While it's not ideal for horses due to potential photosensitivity, it's excellent for cattle, sheep, and wildlife. A great choice for pasture mixes, hay fields, and lowland areas where other legumes may struggle.
Planting Guide: Stand alone drill seeding is 4-6 lbs/acre; 8-12 lbs/acre when broadcast or in critical areas; 5 lb/acre in mixes; should be planted 1/8-1/4 inch in depth
