Enhancer/Tetilia Italian Ryegrass is a high-yielding, fast-growing cool-season grass developed for forage production, hay, silage, and grazing. It is known for its high sugar content, which improves digestibility and energy conversion for livestock. Enhancer/Tetillia has high fiber digestibility and palatability, making it ideal for dairy and beef cattle. Suitable for cover crop, erosion control and pasture improvement. Because Italian Ryegrass must vernalize to produce seed it is used in late spring plantings as it will stay vegetative through the summer and fall and should overwinter to produce more forage in the spring, but it will go to seed that summer.
