Intermediate Wheatgrass, Rush
Rush intermediate wheatgrass is a perennial grass species known for its adaptability and resilience. It is characterized by its robust growth and deep root system, making it suitable for various soil types and environmental conditions. The plant typically reaches heights of 3 to 4 feet and features narrow, elongated leaves that can be green to blue-green in color. Rush Intermediate Wheatgrass is often used for soil stabilization, erosion control, and as a forage crop for livestock due to its high nutritional value. It is also used for its tolerance to drought & salinity, making it an excellent choice for reclaiming disturbed land or improving pasture quality. It is very late maturing so it stays green well into the summer for improved grazing.

Planting Guide:
Intermediate wheatgrass should be seeded with a drill at a depth of 1/2 inch or less on medium to fine textured soils and no more than 1 inch deep on coarse textured soils.
Recommended seeding rate is 10- 12 pounds per acre or 20- 24 seeds per square foot.
